Spicy Green Beans Recipe
TruviaIngredients
1 lb. green beans, rinsed, dried and cut into 2" pieces
2 tbsp soy sauce, low sodium
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1⁄4 cup water
1 tsp of zero-calorie Truvia Original Calorie-Free Sweetener Spoonable Jar***
1 tbsp corn starch
1⁄8 tsp salt
1⁄8 tsp pepper
2 tbsp sesame oil
4 cloves garlic, peeled, washed, dried and minced
2 green onions, rinsed and chopped
3⁄4 tsp red pepper flakes (divided)
Directions
- 1.
In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, vinegar, water, Truvia® Original Sweetener, corn starch, salt, black pepper and 1⁄4 tsp red pepper flakes.

In a large skillet, turn heat to medium and add sesame oil. After 1 minute, add garlic, green onion and remaining 1⁄2 tsp red pepper flakes and saute in oil for 30 seconds. Add green beans and stir until they are almost cooked (about 5-7 minutes). Beans will turn a darker green and start to soften.
- 3.

- 4.
Coat the beans with the thickened sauce and continue to cook for an additional minute.
- 5.
Serve and enjoy. Refrigerate any leftovers.
