Ingredients

Smoked Butterscotch Sauce (Makes 5 Servings):

For One Latte:

  • 14 cup smoked butterscotch sauce

  • 34 cup strong coffee or espresso

  • 14 cup half and half

Directions

The Sauce:
  • 1.

    Make sure you have your smoker on hand. Following the smoker directions and using the hickory wood chips, place 1 14 cups of half and half in a cold smoker for 15-30 minutes.

    Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, then whisk in the Truvia Sweet Complete Brown Sweetener until smooth.

    Bring the mixture to a boil, then turn down the heat to medium and whisk in the half and half.

    Cook for 5-7 minutes, whisking occasionally to prevent the sauce from burning.

    Immediately pour the sauce into a large mason jar or sealable container.

The Latte:

    Put 13 cup of the smoked butterscotch sauce into a mug. Add the warm coffee and half and half, then stir until smooth.
