Ingredients
Truvía® Peanut Syrup:
1⁄2 cup unsalted peanuts
2 cups water
1 cup of zero-calorie Truvia Original Calorie-Free Sweetener Spoonable Jar***
PT&J Cocktail Ingredients:
1⁄2 oz. Truvía® peanut syrup
11⁄2 oz. Bourbon
1 Tbsp Grape Jelly
Directions
TRUVÍA® PEANUT SYRUP:
- 1.
Boil 1⁄2 cup unsalted peanuts in 2 cups water for 15 minutes
- 2.
Strain out peanuts, discard
- 3.
Add 1 cup Truvía® Original Sweetener back to the peanut water
- 4.
Bring to a boil while stirring
- 5.
Remove from heat and allow to cool
- 6.
Keep covered and refrigerated up to one week
PT&J COCKTAIL
- 7.
Add 1⁄2 oz Truvía® peanut syrup, bourbon, and grape jelly to a mixing tin half-filled with ice
- 8.
Shake until the tin is frosted
- 9.
Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice
- 10.
Garnish with a banana slice
