Layered with chocolate, caramel and nuts, these deliciously sweet bars make for the perfect afternoon treat. These bars have 18% fewer calories* and 63% less sugar* than the regular brown sugar-sweetened version. Makes 48 bars.
Make caramel sauce: Microwave butter in 4-cup microwaveable measuring cup or medium microwaveable bowl until melted, about 45 seconds. Stir in Truvia Brown Sugar Blend and whipping cream. Microwave 2-2 ½ minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, or until mixture is bubbly and slightly thickened. Stir in vanilla. Cool at least 10 minutes.

Combine dry ingredients. Add softened butter and mix with pastry blender or fork until it resembles coarse crumbs.

Reserve 1 cup crumbs. Press remaining crumbs into a greased 9x13 baking pan.

Bake 10 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cool 5 minutes.

Drizzle caramel sauce over crust.

Sprinkle nuts, chips and candies over caramel layer. Crumble remaining 1 cup crumbs over top.

Bake 10-15 minutes or until top is lightly browned. Cut into 48 bars when cool.

Great for Kid Get togethersI was looking to make a sweet treat for when my kids' friends came over. I wanted something that was lower in sugar and calories that the kids wouldn't notice. This recipe was perfect for that. The kids loved these. I should have made 2 batches.

Definitely a Keeper!Recently diagnosed with type II diabetes, I was really bummed that I couldn't have sweets. I found Truvia Brown Sugar and then this recipe. Made them and was in heaven. REALLY great recipe for a treat! Thanks.

yummy, healthier treat!!❤My children decided to challenge our family to a no sugar challenge through the rest of the school year. Once we.can have sugar again, I think we will be sticking to lower sugar options.
