Ginger Simple Syrup with Truvía® Original Sweetener

Ginger-Mint Margarita

  • 112 oz. Ginger Simple Syrup with Truvia® Liquid Sweetener from the Stevia Leaf - Lemon Flavor
  • 112 oz. tequila

  • 6 large mint leaves

  • Juice of 1 lime (drop in rind)

  • 112 tsp orange zest (1 orange)

Directions

GINGER SIMPLE SYRUP WITH TRUVÍA® NATURAL SWEETENER
  • 1.

    In a small pot, add Truvia® Liquid Sweetener from the Stevia Leaf - Lemon Flavor, 4 oz. water, 10 slices fresh ginger, peeled.

  • 2.

    Bring to a boil, then reduce and simmer for 15 minutes.

  • 3.

    Strain out ginger and allow to cool, keep refrigerated up to 1 day.

GINGER-MINT MARGARITA
  • 4.

    In a mixing glass, muddle: Ginger Simple Syrup with Truvía® Liquid Lemon Sweetener, tequila, and mint leaves.

  • 5.

    Half-fill with ice, then add: juice of 1 lime (drop in rind) and orange zest.

  • 6.

    Shake until the tin is frosted, strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice.
