French Dressing Recipe

Ingredients
6 oz. tomato paste
3 tsp corn starch
3 tsp vegetable broth
1 ¼ cups water
1 ½ tsp salt
¾ cup Truvia Cane Sugar Blend
¼ tsp onion powder
¼ garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
¼ cup onion, grated
2 cloves garlic, diced
½ cup lemon juice
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
½ cup white vinegar
Directions

In a large saucepan, combine tomato paste, cornstarch and vegetable broth, mix until forms a paste.

Next, add water, salt, Truvia Cane Sugar Blend, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, onions, garlic, lemon juice, oil and vinegar, whisk until well combined.
- 3.
Heat on medium heat, bring to a boil, and boil for 2 minutes. Stir often.
- 4.
Let cool on stovetop, and transfer to a sealable container.
- 5.
Store in refrigerator and chill at least 20 minutes before using. Dressing will firm up as it chills.
*This dressing has 30 calories and 4 grams of sugar per serving compared to the full-sugar version that has 60 calories and 13 grams of sugar per serving.
