Ingredients
Crust/Topping
2 cups old-fashioned oats
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp cinnamon
¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
½ tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
⅓ cup of zero-calorie Truvia Original Calorie-Free Sweetener Spoonable Jar***
Filling
3 cups dates, chopped
3 ½ Tbsp of calorie-free Truvia Original Calorie-Free Sweetener Spoonable Jar****
1 cup water
1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
- 1.
Preheat oven to 325° F
- 2.
Place oats, flour, cinnamon, butter, salt, vanilla and Truvia Original Sweetener in bowl and mix at low speed for 1 minute.
- 3.
Scrape sides of bowl, mix on medium speed for 2 minutes.
- 4.
Portion two-thirds of oat mixture into a greased 9” square pan; set aside remaining one-third of mixture for topping.
- 5.
Press oat mixture into bottom of pan to form crust.
For filling
- 6.
Cook the dates, Truvia Original Sweetener and water in a medium saucepan on low heat for 10 minutes or until the dates begin to soften. Stir in vanilla. Spread over pressed oat mixture.
- 7.
Crumble remaining oat mixture over the filling.
- 8.
Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
