Dalgona (Whipped) Coffee Recipe

1⁄4 cup hot water
2 ½ tsp of Truvia Original Calorie-Free Sweetener Spoonable Jar***
2 Tbsp instant coffee powder
2 cups of sweetened almond milk
1 cup ice cubes
Directions
- 1.
Add the hot water, Truvia Original Sweetener, and instant coffee to a small container that an electric mixer will fit in. (For example, you may use an 8oz liquid measuring cup.)
- 2.
Use an electric mixer until the mixture is fluffy and light, 30-90 seconds.
- 3.
To serve, add ½ of the whipped foam over a cup of milk with ½ cup of ice in it.
- 4.
Stir the whipped foam and milk to mix together.
- 5.
Refrigerate leftovers.
Optional:
- Try with chocolate almond milk for a mocha latte.
- Try with other non-dairy milks.
- If foam breaks down before second serving, just whip again for 30-60 seconds.
*One serving has 110 calories and 17 grams of sugar per serving compared to the full sugar-sweetened version, which has 220 calories and 44 grams of sugar.
