Husbands co-worker loved it!!First try & I nailed it!! Use a coffee/spice grinder for this icing recipe as it makes the Truvia like powdered sugar. Except for pulverizing the Truvia & cornstarch, recipe is easy. I make desserts (besides other foods) that he shares with a couple of co-workers. There is one that really needs to watch his sugar intake. I made the yellow cake recipe but added 1/4 unsweetened cocoa (to make it a chocolate cake). I just received a message on how much he loves it. I'm glad I researched desserts to the extent I did. For what little tasting I did of this icing, it never had a bitter taste or bad taste left in my mouth. I will look for other recipes to make so my husbands co-worker never has to say no to a dessert!!

Very Bitter!Tried this out and my tongue said "NOT IN HERE, YOU DON'T!!" I'd rather use the canned frosting over this! Yes this recipe is lower in sugar by 13 g, but it is by far higher in fats and cholesteral! Chocolate buttercream frostingI tried to make it for a cake I was baking for my husband. It turned out so horrible I started to cry. I tried to make it with love. It was so hope less it was not fluffy. Very grainy I just wasted ingredients.

Lacking ...When I first tried this I was unimpressed... However, using the coffee grinder gave me an idea. You won't believe the difference 1/2 cup of instant coffee makes in this recipe... It's delicious!!
