Ingredients

*Please remember to wash hands, utensils, equipment, and work surfaces with hot, soapy water before and after they come in contact with raw egg.

Directions

  • 1.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

  • 2.

Mix flour, baking powder, and baking soda in a medium bowl. Set aside.

  • 3.

Grate butter into a large bowl, using the large holes of a box grater.

  • 4.

    Sieve dry ingredient into butter.

  • 5.

Use your fingers to work in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs, then toss in blueberries.

  • 6.

Whisk sour cream, Truvia Sweet Complete Granulated All-Purpose Sweetener and egg together in a small bowl until combined.

  • 7.

Stir sour cream mixture into flour mixture using fingers until dough clumps together. Use your hands to shape dough into a ball. (Dough may seem dry at first but will come together as you work it.)

  • 8.

Place dough on a lightly floured surface and lightly pat into a 9-inch circle.

  • 9.

Use a sharp knife to cut into 8 equal triangles, like cutting a pie.

  • 10.

Place on the prepared baking tray, about 1-inch apart.

  • 11.

Bake scones in the preheated oven until golden, about 15 minutes.

  • 12.

Cool 5 minutes and enjoy, best served warm.
