Apple Crisp Recipe

4 cups apples, sliced
1⁄2 cup water
1 Tbsp + 2 1⁄4 tsp of zero-calorie Truvia Calorie-Free Sweetener Spoonable Jar***
2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
11⁄2 tsp ground cinnamon
1⁄2 tsp nutmeg
Nonstick cooking spray

1 cup rolled oats
1 Tbsp + 21⁄4 tsp of zero-calorie Truvia Calorie-Free Sweetener Spoonable Jar***
1⁄4 cup all-purpose flour
11⁄2 tsp ground cinnamon
1⁄4 cup butter, melted
11⁄2 Tbsp brown sugar
1⁄8 tsp salt
Directions
- 1.
Assemble all ingredients; preheat oven to 375° F.
- 2.
For filling, place apples in a large bowl; sprinkle with water, Truvia Calorie-Free Sweetener, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg; toss to coat the fruit.
- 3.
Spray 9-inch baking dish with nonstick spray; place apple mixture in dish.
- 4.
For crisp, in a separate small bowl, combine oats, Truvia Calorie-Free Sweetener, flour, cinnamon, melted butter, brown sugar and salt; stir to form crumbly mixture.
- 5.
Sprinkle crumb mixture on top of apples.
- 6.
Bake 35–40 minutes until apples are tender.
OPTIONAL SUGGESTIONS

Pairs well when served with light vanilla ice cream.

If desired, peel and mash apples. Will reduce fiber content.
