Apple Cider Latte Recipe
TruviaSure, pumpkin spice latte is very likely the iconic fall coffee drink. But we think this reduced-sugar apple cider latte may just give the PSL a run for its money. Though to some it may seem a bit strange to mix cider and coffee, the tart sweetness of the apple really helps to bring out the subtle fruity notes of the espresso, especially if you've brewed a shot with some high-quality espresso. And it is all balanced with the toasty warm brown sugar-like sweetness of Truvia Sweet Complete brown.
Though you could just simply serve it with the steamed milk, we think the best way to really amp up the fall flavor is to add a spiced whipped cream (yes, it is pumpkin spice, but we use it for apple pies and non-pumpkin things all the time!). After your first sip of this latte, you're never going to want to start a fall day without one.
