Learn More About
Native to parts of South America, the leaves of the stevia plant have been used as a sweetener in teas and medicines for hundreds of years. Born from the best tasting parts of the leaves of the stevia plant, stevia leaf extract is the main sweetening ingredient in Truvia Stevia Leaf Sweeteners.
Ethical, Responsible, Sustainable Stevia
At Truvia, we work hard to ensure that the stevia we source is not only the best-tasting, highest quality stevia available – but also sustainably and responsibly produced.
Three Ingredients. Infinite Possibilities.
Truvia Calorie-free Stevia Sweetener is made with simply three ingredients: stevia leaf extract, erythritol and natural flavors. To make Truvia Calorie-free Stevia Sweetener, we first take the sweetest part of the stevia leaf and extract its natural sweetness. But stevia leaf extract is 200 times sweeter than sugar, so to balance the sweetness we add a sugar alcohol called erythritol. Then we add a special recipe of natural flavors to create great-tasting, zero calorie sweetness.
Monk fruit is a small round fruit native to the mountains of China and Northern Thailand. For centuries monk fruit has provided delicious, calorie-free sweetness to food and drinks. Monk fruit extract is the high purity extract that comes from monk fruit and it is the key sweetening ingredient in Truvia Monk Fruit Sweeteners.
Responsibly and Ethically Sourced Monk Fruit
We work hard to ensure that the monk fruit we source is not only the best tasting, highest quality monk fruit available– but also ethically and responsibly produced.
Two Ingredients. Infinite Possibilities
Truvia Monk Fruit Sweetener is made with simply two ingredients: Monk Fruit extract and erythritol. To make Truvia Monk Fruit Sweetener, we first extract the natural sweetness from responsibly sourced monk fruit. Because monk fruit extract is about 200 times sweeter than sugar, we balance the sweetness by adding a sugar alcohol called erythritol. This creates great tasting, zero calorie sweetness.
