| Filling 4 cups apples, sliced ½ cup water 1 Tbsp + 2 1/4 tsp Truvia™ natural sweetener spoonable* 2 Tbsp all purpose flour 1½ tsp ground cinnamon ½ tsp nutmeg Non-stick cooking spray * or 6 packets Truvia™ natural sweetener |
Crisp: 1 cup rolled oats 1 Tbsp + 2 1/4 tsp Truvia™ natural sweetener spoonable* ¼ cup all purpose flour 1½ tsp ground cinnamon ¼ cup butter, melted 1½ Tbsp brown sugar 1/8 tsp salt * or 6 packets Truvia™ natural sweetener |
1. Assemble all ingredients; Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Place apples in a large bowl; sprinkle with water, Truvia™ natural sweetener, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg; toss to coat the fruit.
3. Spray 9-inch baking dish with non-stick spray; Place apple mixture in dish.
4. In a separate small bowl, combine oats, Truvia™ natural sweetener, second flour and cinnamon, melted butter, brown sugar and salt; stir to form crumbly mixture.
5. Sprinkle crumb mixture on top of apples.
6. Bake 35-40 minutes until apples are tender.
Optional:
Pairs well when served with light vanilla ice cream.
If desired, peel apples-will reduce fiber content.
